Though I never got the chance to meet him in person, I would say that through his photos & the stories I knew about him from my husband, what I can say about my father in law is that he is a nice dad, husband, grand father & a good provider. He is contented of his life with his loving wife, who cares for him too and Dad never complains of old same things he does everyday. They lived together for more than 50 years and they are getting stronger as they get older and I admire them for that.
I was so amazed of how my mother in law handles the situation when my father in law was in the hospital till he was taken by our Creator because she remained calm and strong.
We love you dad and may your soul rest in peace up there with our Father. You will always be in our hearts, all your memories will be remembered.
Just think of stepping on shore - and finding it heaven!
Of touching a hand - and finding it God's!
Of breathing new air - and finding it celestial!
Of walking up in glory - and finding it home!
When we see Jesus face to face for the first time - we will be "finally home."
Psalm 31:15 " My time is in your hand."
Deuteronomy 31:6
Be strong and courageous. Do not be afraid or terrified because of them, for the LORD your God goes with you; he will never leave you nor forsake you."
Isaiah 41:10
So do not fear, for I am with you; do not be dismayed, for I am your God.
I will strengthen you and help you; I will uphold you with my righteous right hand.
"The LORD is my shepherd; I shall not want.
He maketh me to lie down in green pastures:
he leadeth me beside the still waters.
He restoreth my soul:
he leadeth me in the paths of righteousness for his name's sake.
Yea, though I walk through the valley of the shadow of death,
I will fear no evil: for thou art with me;
thy rod and thy staff they comfort me.
Thou preparest a table before me in the presence of mine enemies: thou anointest my head with oil; my cup runneth over.
Surely goodness and mercy shall follow me all the days of my life:
and I will dwell in the house of the LORD for ever."
